EVENT DESIGN
Beach Breaks is a free community event that celebrates the proud and colourful surfing history and culture of Maroubra Beach.
Located at Maroubra Beach Promenade (near the Cr of McKeon Street and Marine Parade), there was live music, face painting, entertainment, beach volleyball and activities for the kids!
As part of the festival the Surfing Walk of Fame presentation recognises the achievements and dedication of four local surfer/surf lifesavers and marked with a special plaque.

I created new assets and concepts for the 2023 event, and created a visual identity for the festival with a strong surfing aesthetic, and references to the famous Maroubra rubiks cube.
