STREET BANNERS
This project was self initiated by myself to
have some banner designs that could be displayed when there was a gap in the street banner calendar.

In between major projects, I developed a fast illustration style and created three banner designs based on local birdlife. The motivation behind the design was firstly to celebrate some of the wonderful birds that visit and live in the area. I also thought the way the street banners moved in the breeze was the perfect medium for some bird imagery.
The banners received an incredible amount of positive feedback from the Councillors and local residents. The project has now been opened up to local artists, and in 2024 artist, Anthea Ben-Naim was commissioned to create works to celebrate the area’s local marine life.
